6.5.1 SCSI-Adaptor

Build your own SCSI-Adaptor Kable

Found a schematic to build your own 50 Pin SCSI to DB25 SCSI Adaptor.
All technical Data are found in the Service Manuals and in a Book named: 'How to upgrade and repair a PC'

Use that adaptor to connect a ZIP device after the internal SCSI Device of a C-LAB Machine. Do not connect anything to the external SCSI2 Connector of your Falcon C-LAB Case. SCSI can't work with a Bus in a 'Y' Form.

All SCSI Devices must be shown as one Line from Falcon to your last SCSI Device. Do not connect anything in a 'Y' Junction to yor Falcon!

Do not build that SCSI Adaptor with a single GND wire from Plug to Plug!
Use ALL GND wires of the 50 Pin Plug! Split these wires to GND Pin of DB25
The only way to safe your data!

   * Do not connect unsigned pins to somewere *
   * Do not connect anyhing to open pins at your device *

SCSI 2.5" Pinout

Here is the pinout of a 2.5" HD device. If you need to connect a kind of that device outside of a notebook, so you can build your own SCSI 2.5" to 50 Pin SCSI adaptor
