Installation

1.	Turn the unit over and remove the seven screws holding the top cover in place.


2.	Turn the unitback over and remove the top cover.

3.	Using four mounting screws install the Hard Disk in the mounting bracket so that the interface connector is on the side of the bracket without mounting flanges.


4.	Install the interface cable on the main PCB connector J14. Be sure pin 1 (side of cable with red stripe) is located toward the front of the unit.


5.	Dress the interface cable so it is pointed toward the front of the unit and the connector is positioned with pin 1 to the left.

6.	With four mounting screws install the hard disk and bracket in the unit. Be sure the flanges on the bracket are at the back of the unit.


7.	Plug the interface cable into the hard disk. Be sure not to place the interface cable over the Master/Slave jumper pins.


8.	Replace the top cover.
