Accomplishments

1.	Cleaned up paperwork and did some filing. 8/6/92.

2.	Got FALCON030 corrections from Richard Miller and began incorporating them into the Hardware Specification and Service Guide. 8/6/92.

3.	Started new FALCON030 Hard Disk Installation Instructions with all new drawings. 8/6/92.

4.	Created drawings and completed FALCON030 Hared Disk Installation Instructions. 8/7/92.

5.	Sent FALCON030 Hard Disk Installation Instructions to Tom in Taiwan. 8/7/92.

6.	Backed up TT030 and ABC386DXII.

7.	Finished corrections to FALCON030 Hardware Specification. Started layout and re-pagination of document. 8/8/92-8/9/92.

8.	Printed two copies of final draft revision B FALCON030 Hardware Specification. 8/10/92.

9.	Corrected FALCON030 Product Specification Table of Contents and printed two copies. 8/10/92.

10.	Finished adding corrections to FALCON030 Service Guide. 8/10/92.

11.	Sent copies of corrected FALCON030 Hardware Specification and Service Guide to Richard Miller and Tom in Taiwan. 8/10/92.

12.	Started making edits to STBook Specification to create an archive copy in PageStream here locally at ATX. 8/11/92.

13.	Continued to compile list of archived documents on hand at ATX. 8/11/92.

14.	Started layout of STBook Specification. 8/12/92.

15.	Began new block diagram for STBook Service Guide and Product Specification. 8/12/92.

16.	Called Tracy Hall in SUVL to gain more information on STBook. No response from him at end of day. 8/12/92.


Plans

1.	Produce Service Guides for STBook, Portfolio, 2600, Falcon040, and 7800 products.

2.	Complete specifications for archive of COMBEL, VIDEL, SDMA, ADMA, BDAM, VIO, and MCU ICs.

3.	Produce FALCON030 Service Guide Final Draft and ship to subs.

4.	Continue work on Falcon040 Service Guide once ASIC Specifications are available.

5.	Get all latest material for FALCON030.

6.	Continue test of PageStream v2.2 beta and convert existing documents to that format.

7.	Complete Falcon040 Service Guide.

8.	Complete conversion of MEGA STE Service Guide to PageStream.

9.	Complete conversions of manuals from Ventura 4.0 to PageStream.

10.	Complete printing of user documents for Windows 3.1.

11.	Finish final copy of Falcon030 Power Supply Spec. for archives.

12.	Continue set up of Engineering Document Control Center.

13.	Create LYNX-II Service Guide.

14.	Complete ATB's for MEGA STE and TT030.

15.	Complete MEGA STE Addendum.

16.	Compile new list of archive documents.

17.	Get filing cabinet and secured ASIC spec documents from component engineer's office.

18.	Compile list of ASIC specs in component engineering file.

Problems

1.	PageStream v2.2 beta works with GEM files now, however, some other problems still remain. Text search and replace causes failure. It is a simple work around and shouldn't cause great problems in document creation.

2.	Upgrade disks for DynaCADD not fixed. Leonard Tramiel has copy of problem. Working. Leonard has new update which he will send that fixes problems. No word as yet from Leonard.

3.	Need ASIC specifications for Falcon ICs. Have IO controller documentation for FALCON040. Need rest. SDMA done by J. Horton 7/15/92.

4.	Need memory manager for system that will run concurrently with the NFS network. Have a shortage of memory. Some applications can only be run under Windows, although they are DOS applications. Have tried several. No fix can be found. Will have to live with memory as is.

5.	Need LYNX-II data for Service Guide.

6.	Need ST-Book data for Service Guide.

7.	Need 2600 and 7800 data for Service Guide.

8.	Need fire-proof cabinet for engineering documents.
