19.2 Tweety Board
Tweety Board
In an 1040STf a ribbon cable and header has been soldered ontop of
IC U19 and the board at the other end of this cable reads:
The tweety board is a rather useless a poor quality sound
enhancement.
It adds pseudo-stereo to the YM soundchip output. The STE's DMA
sound is far better. I don't know of any software that took advantage
of the tweety's other features.
